We Never Turn Away Volunteers
We never ask you to "apply" to become a volunteer with us. Every single new volunteer helps us get closer to our goal of ensuring everyone can have access to the essential hygiene items they need.
Step 1:
Take 30 seconds to fill out our prospective volunteer form. It's your first step to becoming Essentials For Homeless's chapter head for your community, city, state, or country.
Step 2:
We'll get back to you in a few hours to let you know how you can best help and become an agent for change in your community. Usually, we help you set up a toiletry drive in your community (school, place of worship, or even your home!). We've streamlined the process for you, so it shouldn't take more than a few hours to organize one.
Step 3:
We'll help you make the best use of the generous hygiene item donations your community contributes. Together, we'll find a homeless shelter or service organization that's convenient for you and can reach the maximum number of people in need. If all goes well, we can even help get your work media coverage!
